The Honor Magic 8 series just made its official debut in China, and alongside these flagship smartphones, the company has unveiled a high end tablet as well. The MagicPad 3 Pro has been announced with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, making it one of the most powerful tablets in the market right now. So here’s everything you need to know.

Honor MagicPad 3 Pro: Design & Display
The Chinese brand just unveiled the MagicPad 3 Pro in its home market with flagship levels specs. However, the brand didn’t skip out on the design and display either. Despite its large screen and massive battery, the MagicPad 3 Pro measures just 5.79mm thick and weighs 595 grams. So Honor’s premium tablet easily takes on the likes of Apple’s iPad Pros. This device is also bundled with a smart touch keyboard and stylus.
On the front, we have one of its biggest features. A large and gorgeous 13.3-inch LCD panel that has a 3.2K resolution, HDR10, up to 1100 nits of peak brightness, an IMAX Enhanced and HDR Vivid certification, 91 percent screen to body ratio, and DC dimming. Honor uses AI to bring AI defocus eye protection, AI dry eye care, and much more to improve the visual experience. It is great for gaming as well, featuring the industry’s first 165Hz (lowers down to 30Hz) and 270Hz touch sampling rate.
Performance
Honor has launched the world’s fastest Android tablet thanks to Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. This chip brings upgrades in performance, energy efficiency, gaming, and AI tasks. Coupling this with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, this is undoubtedly a flagship grade tablet. Keeping these beefy specs cool is a stainless steel VC system with a total heat dissipation area of 65485mm².
Out of the box, the MagicPad 3 Pro runs on the Android 16 OS based MagicOS 6 custom skin, which also brings various useful AI powered tools. A massive 12,450mAh battery pack powers this model that supports 80W wired fast charging (66W adapter in the box) and 23W reverse charging as well. Other notable features include dual band WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 port, an eight speaker setup with 3D spatial audio, 3 microphones, and Honor’s new YOYO AI.

For optics, the Honor MagicPad 3 Pro features a 13MP primary sensor with an f/2.0 aperture on the rear, alongside a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, while the front houses a 9MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.

Honor just announced the MagicPa 3 Pro in four color options, namely Floating Gold, Moon Shadow White, and Starry Sky Gray. It is also available in multiple storage configurations, so here are the pricing details:
- 12GB + 256GB – 3,799 Yuan (roughly 532 US Dollars)
- 12GB + 512GB – 4,399 Yuan (roughly 616 US Dollars)
- 16GB + 512GB – 4,699 Yuan (roughly 658 US Dollars)
The brand’s flagship tablet is currently available for pre-orders, with its first sale kicking off in China on 23rd October 2025.
