Realme Watch 5 has been officially announced on September 19, 2025.
This smartwatch features a durable build with a glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame. It does not support SIM cards but is IP68 certified, making it dust-tight and water resistant, capable of withstanding immersion up to 1.5 meters. The 1.97-inch AMOLED display offers a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels at around 302 ppi density, delivering crisp visuals with a peak brightness of 600 nits.
It runs on a proprietary operating system and comes with unspecified internal storage based on eMMC technology, without support for external memory cards. The device does not include cameras but is equipped with a loudspeaker for calls and notifications. A 3.5mm headphone jack is absent.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 with A2DP and LE support, while Wi-Fi and USB ports are not available. For positioning, Realme Watch 5 supports multiple satellite systems including GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BDS. The watch also includes NFC for quick wireless transactions.
Health and fitness tracking are powered by sensors such as an accelerometer, heart rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, and compass. The smartwatch is backed by a 460 mAh Li-Ion battery, ensuring reliable performance for daily use. It comes in two color options: Black and Titanium.
