It supports dual Nano-SIM cards and offers high protection with IP68/IP69 ratings, making it dust-tight, water resistant, and capable of withstanding high-pressure water jets or immersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.

Vivo Y31 also meets MIL-STD-810H standards, providing additional resistance to environmental stresses, though it is not fully rugged. The 6.68-inch IPS LCD offers smooth visuals at 120Hz and reaches a peak brightness of 1000 nits (HBM). With a resolution of 720 x 1608 pixels (~264 ppi) and an ~84% screen-to-body ratio, the screen is protected by ion-strengthened Guardian Glass.

Powered by Android 15 with Funtouch 15, the phone uses the Qualcomm SM4450 Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (4nm) chipset with an octa-core CPU (2×2.2 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6×1.95 GHz Cortex-A55) and Adreno 613 GPU.
